Tennessee Titans continues poor play at home.

The Tennessee Titans drop to 3-12, and the Houston Texans move to 8-7, keeping their playoffs hopes alive.

The Texans snagged an early seven point lead within five plays due to an Antonio Andrews fumble. Texans received another opportunity to put up points after receiver Harry Douglas muffed a punt, which lead to a Texans field goal.

Other scores in the game featured Texans quarterback Brandon Weeden, who scored a late rushing touchdown in the first half to give the Texans a 17 point lead. The blow out continued in the second half with the Texans dropping another 17 points in the 3rd quarter.

Zach Mettenberger and the offense didn’t score until a little over one minute remaining in the game with a one yard touchdown pass to the rookie receiver Tre McBride. Unfortunately missing the two point conversion.

Mettenberger finished 27/51 for 234 yards, a touchdown pass and an interception. Star tight end Delanie Walker had only nine catches for 59 yards.

Quarterback Brandon Weeden went 15/24 for 200 yards and two touchdown passes and a rushing touchdown as well, receiving his first win in his NFL career. Texans WR Deandre Hopkins had 7 grabs for 117 yards and an endzone grab over Coty Sensabaugh.

The Titans visit the Indianapolis Colts next Sunday to end their dismal season.
