Long time Tennessee Titans rival Peyton Manning is reportedly retiring after 18 seasons.
As you know, Manning was quarterback for the Indianapolis Colts for 14 seasons and played his final four seasons in Denver for the Broncos. The five-time NFL MVP has won two prestigious Superbowls. He has 71,940 career yards and 539 touchdown passes and is a clear candidate for the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
No one could forget the illustrious years he had with Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne as his big threats. Especially Titans fans, as they were usually the unfortunate victims of the deadly trio.
Now, we will wait and see if the talk of Manning joining a team’s coaching or executive staff is true. The Tennessee Volunteers will love to bring him back into the well-known “Big Orange Country”. They have some talented quarterbacks that could value his knowledge of the NFL and the position to help improve themselves.
The Titans are also a strong possibility. Manning has a good relationship with the Adams family and the great state of Tennessee. He was very close to playing in two-toned blue instead of the blue and orange because of that reason. However, since he chose the Broncos to suit up for, don’t mind if he choose the Titans front office to join sometime in the future.
