After Predators take 2-0 lead, Ducks’ fans blamed the obvious.

No one had the Nashville Predators winning the series, let alone leading it 2-0 heading home. The Ducks’ fans were confident this would be an easy series for their team, but apparently they forgot that this is the same team that gave Chicago trouble last year before suffering elimination.

The Ducks tried their best to throw Nashville off their game. They did what they’re known for: creating action beyond the whistle. The Predators didn’t fall for it. Instead, they drew six penalties, and scored one power play goal against one of the league’s best penalty killing teams.

Yes, you’re right, Johansen. The Predators are no joke.

When the Predators escaped Anaheim with their second 3-2 win in a row, of course, their fans took their excuses to Twitter.

Trashville. I haven’t heard that one before.

Thanks, Keith.

Meanwhile in Nashville, fans stayed up late to support their team in California, and wasn’t very surprised when their team took a 2-0 lead. Why not? Because, only they know how good the Predators are. No one else seems to.

Let me say this, I understand referees can be bad. I still remember the Predators game vs. Colorado a few weeks ago. I’m not saying the referees were perfect on Sunday night, but they weren’t the reason for the Ducks’ loss.

While Anaheim fans are on their heels and blaming referees, Nashville fans are ready to welcome the best NHL team home to the best NHL city in the league.
